The contest will feature a series of monthly challenges that will put the contestants' K-Pop DJing abilities to the test. With each challenge, one or more contestants may be eliminated until only one remains, claiming the title of the "Ultimate K-Pop DJ." The challenge submissions will be shared online and fans may vote on their favorite submissions. 

To enter, submit a short, 5 - 7 minute video explaining why you want to be A KPop DJ.

VIDEO Content:

1st - Introduction:

Start by introducing yourself, including your name and where you're from.

Share your age and any relevant personal background.

Why Do You Want to Be a K-Pop DJ?

Explain your motivation and passion for becoming a K-Pop DJ.

Share any personal stories or experiences that have shaped your love for K-Pop and DJing.

Favorite K-Pop Groups and Songs:

Share your favorite K-Pop groups and songs, and explain what draws you to them.

Discuss how these preferences influence your DJing style and song selection.

Your DJing Style:

Describe the type of K-Pop DJ you aspire to be. Are you more focused on club events, virtual parties, radio shows, or another niche?

Explain any unique elements you'd bring to your DJ sets or events, such as specific themes, mixing techniques, or interaction with the audience.

Why You Should Be Picked:

Explain why you believe you should be selected for  "I Wanna Be a KPop DJ”.

Emphasize what sets you apart from other contestants, including your skills, dedication, and potential impact in the K-Pop DJing scene.

Share your vision for the future of K-Pop DJing and how you'd contribute to it.

Closing Statement:

Conclude your video with a compelling and enthusiastic message, expressing your eagerness to participate in the competition.

The Top 10 Contestants will be chosen by a team of judges. One of the judges will be an online fan vote. Each month, there will be a new challenge to complete. 

"I Wanna Be a KPop DJ" Contest Rules and Guidelines

Eligibility:

The contest is open to amateurs only.

Contestants must be 16 years old or older to participate.

Video Submissions:

To enter, submit a 5 - 7 minute video via the designated platform, explaining why you want to be a KPop DJ.

Likeness Release:

By submitting a video to the contest, you grant the contest organizers the right to use your likeness, image, and voice in all contest-related media, promotional materials, and future marketing campaigns without compensation.

Video Content:

All video submissions must follow the specified format, including the Introduction, "Why Do You Want to Be a K-Pop DJ," "Favorite K-Pop Groups and Songs," "Your DJing Style," "Why You Should Be Picked," and Closing Statement.

Judging and Selection:

The Top 10 Contestants will be chosen by a team of judges, which may include an online fan vote.The judges' decision is final and binding.

Monthly Challenges:

Each month, the contest will feature a new challenge, starting in February and ending with the last challenge being in person at the festival in September.

Participant Responsibilities:

Contestants are responsible for their own travel expenses to the festival.

Cancellation or Changes:

The contest organizers reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or make changes to the event. No refunds will be issued in such cases unless required by law.

Force Majeure:

The contest organizers are not liable for any failure or delay resulting from acts beyond their control, including acts of nature, government actions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Liability and Responsibility:

The contest organizers, sponsors, and venue owners are not liable for any loss, injury, damage, or theft of personal belongings during the festival or related events.

Compliance with Local Laws:

All participants must adhere to local, state, and federal laws during the festival and related events.

Jurisdiction and Governing Law:

Any disputes arising from the contest will be governed by Colorado law and resolved in the appropriate jurisdiction.

Additional Rules:

The contest organizers reserve the right to add or modify rules as necessary.
